Residential Trip
Robinwood!
Our annual Year 6 residential visit to Robinwood Activity Centre in Todmorden will take place from Monday 19th to Wednesday 21st July, 2027. This three-day, two-night experience provides pupils with the opportunity to take part in a range of exciting outdoor and team-building activities, all delivered in a safe and supportive environment. Children stay on-site with school staff and experienced Robinwood instructors, with all meals, accommodation and activities included. The residential is designed to build confidence, independence, teamwork and problem-solving skills, while giving pupils a memorable final experience before they move on to high school.

Robinwood Activities:
Our exciting, high-quality activities are designed to give 7 to 11-year-olds the perfect mix of challenge and fun, pushing boundaries while staying perfectly suited to their age, ability and stage of development. Each activity helps them grow in confidence, resilience and patience, all while ensuring an unforgettable experience.
Challenge by Choice is a theme carried through every course for every child. It helps children create boundaries and establish trust with their peers and their Group Leaders, moving them out of their comfort zones and experiencing success.

Accommodation and Facilities:
Accommodation at the centre is set across three large dormitory buildings and within the castle itself. There is also a smaller cottage accommodation in the grounds that is accessible for wheelchair users. The children share a dormitory with their friends, whilst the teachers have en-suite rooms close by to relax in.
We provide all bedding, making it one less thing for you to organise. We also have a laundry service on site and will wash, dry and return all belongings to their owners.
Meals:
Our course is fully catered. From lunch on your arrival to your lunch before you depart, our fantastic catering team have it covered. With menus designed for the ages of the children attending, there will be plenty for them to fuel up on, ready for their activities. You will have a dedicated member of the catering team assigned to your trip to oversee every meal and handle all special diets within your party and every mealtime will be supervised by our team, allowing you to rest and enjoy your meal too.
