Art and Design
Our Art and Design curriculum nurtures happy, healthy and confident learners who enjoy expressing themselves creatively and taking pride in their work. Pupils develop technical skills, explore ideas and take creative risks while learning to reflect, evaluate and appreciate the work of others. Through art, they gain resilience, cultural awareness and a love of learning, making connections across the curriculum and understanding the value of creativity in the wider world. By the end of primary school, pupils leave as confident, imaginative and thoughtful young artists ready to express themselves and embrace challenges with pride.

Art Club! 🎨
Our After School Art Club, led by Mrs Percival, runs during the spring and summer terms and provides pupils with a wonderful opportunity to explore their creativity. Each week, children experiment with a range of materials and techniques, from drawing and painting to sculpture and mixed media. The club encourages imagination, confidence and self-expression in a relaxed and supportive environment, allowing every child to enjoy and develop their artistic skills.
The club is now taking place for Year 2 and 3 pupils every Wednesday until 4:30pm. For more information or to enquire about a place, please contact the school office.
