Christmas Newsletter - December 2025
Guest User
At this time of year, Christmas gives us an opportunity to reflect on the important value of love. In the Christian tradition, the Christmas story reminds us of the importance of caring for others, showing kindness, and welcoming everyone — values that are shared across many faiths and cultures.
In our school, love is shown in many ways each day. We see it when children help one another, include others in their games, listen carefully, and show respect and compassion. These everyday acts of kindness help to create a safe, happy, and supportive environment where everyone feels valued.
The festive season also encourages us to think about how we can show love beyond our school community — by being thoughtful at home, supporting those in need, and showing gratitude to the people who care for us.
As we approach the Christmas break, we encourage our children to continue living out the value of love through their actions, remembering that kindness and understanding bring people together, no matter our background or beliefs.

Overall Class Attendance for Autumn Term:
Thank you for your continued support in ensuring pupils attend school regularly. We have really suffered with a high level of illness this last half term which has seen our attendance figures drop a lot from our first half term.
👏 Well done to Year 3 for achieving the highest attendance this term!
Regular attendance makes a big difference to learning—thank you for helping our children start each day ready to learn.
Good Attendance Draw!!
Don’t forget, for every week that your child has an attendance of 96%+, they are allocated a digital ticket for a draw that will take place every half term. The more weeks with an attendance of 96%+, the more chances to win!

Community News and Support
Look at some of the things we have been getting up to in the last term (remember to keep checking Seesaw and Class Dojo for class updates):
As we come to the end of another busy and rewarding term, I would like to take this opportunity to thank our pupils, staff, parents, and carers for their continued support throughout the year.
This term has been filled with hard work, commitment, and many moments of success. I am incredibly proud of our pupils for their resilience, kindness, and enthusiasm for learning, and grateful to our staff who go above and beyond each day to support them. I would also like to thank parents and carers for the strong partnership we share—it truly makes a difference to our school community.
Christmas is a time for reflection, gratitude, and togetherness. I hope the holiday period offers everyone a chance to rest, spend time with loved ones, and enjoy the festive season.
On behalf of everyone at the school, I would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year. We look forward to our last few days in school before we break up for the Christmas holidays and then welcoming pupils back refreshed and ready for the year ahead on Monday 5th January.
