Generosity
This term, our school has been focusing on the Christian value of Generosity — a value that reminds us how powerful it can be to give freely to others, not just with our money or belongings, but with our time, kindness, and care.
In the Bible, we are reminded that “God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9:7). True generosity comes from the heart — it’s about giving because we want to, not because we have to. Jesus showed the ultimate example of generosity through His love, compassion, and sacrifice for others.
At school, we can show generosity in so many ways:
By sharing our time to help a friend who’s struggling.
By offering a smile or kind word to brighten someone’s day.
By giving our best effort in class and on the playground.
By supporting our community through charity events or thoughtful actions.
Generosity builds stronger friendships, a kinder school, and a more loving world. When we give to others, we don’t lose — we grow. We encourage the children to challenge themselves to give a little more of what really matters: love, patience, and understanding.
We want to make our school a place where generosity is not just something we talk about, but something we live every day! 🌼

Overall Class Attendance for Autumn 1:
Attendance and punctuality has not been the best this last half term. While we understand that illness happens, we ask all parents to make sure that they are ensuring that whenever possible, children are in school and on time. It makes a difference to not only your child’s academic achievements but also, confidence and social and emotional confidence.
Good Attendance Draw!!
Don’t forget, for every week that your child has an attendance of 96%+, they are allocated a digital ticket for a draw that will take place every half term. The more weeks with an attendance of 96%+, the more chances to win!

Community News and Support
Look at some of the things we have been getting up to in the last term (remember to keep checking Seesaw and Class Dojo for class updates):
It has been such a busy half term and I can’t quite believe we are already 1/6 of the way through the school year. A long half term with lots of achievements, adventures and improvements.
I am so proud of the children, their ongoing courage, perseverance and enthusiasm shine through everyday.
Next half term brings Parents’ Meetings - please make sure you book in on Arbor or contact your child’s class teacher, or the school office, if you are struggling. It is always good to share news of how they are doing and continue to work with you to ensure your children achieve their best.
I hope that everyone has a lovely half term holiday and we look forward to seeing you back on Monday 3rd November for the lead up to Advent and Christmas (my favourite term in many ways!).
Thank you for your continuing support in ensuring we can provide the best possible education for your children - without you, we couldn’t do it!
